Commvault, a hybrid cloud cybersecurity provider, has announced that Commvault Cloud has achieved GovRAMP Authorised status for its cyber resilience SaaS solutions. This authorisation is important for state and local government agencies as well as educational institutions (SLED), enabling them to securely handle data while supporting security verification standards.
GovRAMP (formerly StateRAMP) offers a standardised approach for assessing the security posture of cloud products and services utilised by state and local governments and educational institutions. Achieving GovRAMP Authorised status at a high-impact level signifies that Commvault Cloud meets rigorous security and risk management standards.
Commvault Cloud underwent a third-party assessment and review by the GovRAMP Program Management Office for this status.
