According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the Pran Pratishtha rituals were scheduled to commence in the morning.
“On Jyeshtha Shukla Dashami (June 5), pujan will commence at 6:30 a.m. and continue until 11:20 a.m. The Pran Pratishtha will take place at 11:25 a.m., followed by pujan, bhog, and aarti. All events on this day will conclude by 1:00 p.m.,” the trust said in a post on X on May 28.
The three-day Pran Pratishtha ceremony was organised at the temple premises for the eight newly installed vigrahas and other deities. The ceremony commenced on the eve of June 2 with the beginning of a ‘Jal Kalash Yatra’ from the banks of the Sarayu River.
“Eight splendid Devalayas have been newly constructed within the Mandir Complex, each enshrining a vigraha of revered Shastriya Devtas. The sacred Pran Pratishtha ceremony for these vigrahas will be conducted with full religious observance,” the trust said.

A guideline on opening these newly inaugurated temples for the general public is currently being discussed by the officials. “Access to the Shri Ram Darbar on the first floor will be restricted, with possibly only 50 devotees permitted per hour through issued passes,” the temple trust said.
According to the Hindu calendar, Thursday also marks the sacred occasion of Ganga Dussehra, the day when the river Ganga is said to have descended to Earth. On the occasion, Adityanath extended greetings to the people of UP.
The current Pran Pratishtha ceremony is the second major consecration at the Ayodhya Ram Temple, following its inauguration in January 2024. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had led one of the key rituals during the initial consecration held on Jan. 22.
