Stock Market Today: All You Need To Know Going Into Trade On Feb. 5
The NSE Nifty 50 ended 378.20 points or 1.62% higher at 23,739.25 and the BSE Sensex closed 1,397.07 points or 1.81% up at 78,583.81 on Tuesday.

On Wall Street, major indices ended higher on Tuesday, with the S&P 500 rising 0.72% to 6,037.88, the Dow Jones gaining 0.30% to 44,556.04, and the Nasdaq Composite surging 1.35% to 19,654.02.
However, futures indicated some weakness, as S&P 500 futures fell 0.28%, Dow Jones Futures slipped 0.08% and Nasdaq Futures declined 0.4%.
The US Dollar Index declined 0.94% to 107.96, while the US 10-year bond yield stood at 4.52%.
Brent crude edged up 0.32% to $76.20 per barrel, and Bitcoin gained 1.41%, reaching $97,914.19. Meanwhile, spot gold dipped slightly by 0.04% to $2,841.70.
Shares in Australia and Japan rose, and so did stock futures for Hong Kong. The Nikkei 225 was up 0.34% while S&P/ASX 200 gained 0.7%. South Korea's Kospi traded 1.15% higher while Hang Seng futures surged 2.4%. Chinese traders are on tenterhooks ahead of Wednesday’s market reopen after the lunar holidays.
The yen advanced to around 154 per greenback.
The NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex had the best session since Jan. 2, as market participants found temporary relief after US President Donald Trump delayed imposing tariff on Canada and Mexico for a month. HDFC Bank Ltd., and Reliance Industries Ltd. share prices contributed the most to gains.
The Nifty 50 ended 378.20 points, or 1.62% higher at 23,739.25, and the Sensex ended 1,397.07 points, or 1.81% higher at 78,583.81.
Foreign portfolio investors turned net buyers of Indian equities after 23 straight sessions on Tuesday as they bought stocks worth approximately Rs 809.2 crore.
Domestic institutional investors were net sellers after 34 consecutive buying sessions as they offloaded equities worth Rs 430.7 crore, according to provisional data from the National Stock Exchange.
Indian rupee strengthened by 12 paise to close at 87.08 against the US Dollar.
