Stock Market Today: India-Pakistan Conflict Jitters Send Nifty, Sensex Tumbling Over 1%; ICICI Bank Top Loser

The NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex erased all gains from previous week. The indices finished the week with 1.39% and 1.30%, down, respectively.

• The NSE Nifty 50 ended 238.15 points or 0.98% down at 24,035.65, the lowest level since April 17

• The BSE Sensex ended 775.32 points or 0.97% down at 79,559.49, the lowest level since April 25.

• The Nifty 50 witnessed the worst intraday decline since April 25, while Sensex fell the most since April 15%

• The Nifty Realty is the worst performer. It ended 2.38% down at 823.75.

• The Nifty Defence is the best performer. It ended 3.04% higher at 7,088.95.

• The NSE Nifty Midcap 150 ended 0.02% higher at 19,596.25

• The NSE Nifty Smallcap 250 ended 0.66% down at 15,080.45

• Rupee closed 34 paise stronger at 85.38 against US Dollar

• It closed at 85.72 a dollar on Thursday

ICICI Bank Ltd. has announced that ICICI Venture will transfer its private equity, venture capital, and real estate fund management business from I-Ven to ICICI Prudential AMC. Despite this transfer, I-Ven will continue to undertake certain advisory activities and manage residual funds.

Alkyl Amines Chemicals Ltd. share price declined 3.25% to Rs 1,622.70 apiece. The company's Ebitda declined 1.6% on the year to Rs 67.8 crore during fourth quarter.
