Adani Energy Solutions To Mull Fundraising On May 31

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd.'s board of directors will hold a meeting in Ahmedabad on Saturday to consider and approve the proposal of raising of funds by way of issuance of equity shares.

The methods will include private placement, a qualified institutions placement and preferential issue. These will be subject to the approval of shareholders of the company, according to an exchange filing on Wednesday.

Adani Energy Q4 FY25 Highlights (Consolidated, YoY)

  • Revenue rose 35.43% to Rs 6,374.58 crore versus Rs 4,706.85 crore. (Bloomberg estimate: Rs 5,440 crore)

  • Ebitda rose 43.8% to Rs 2,250.8 crore versus Rs 1,565.52 crore. (Estimate: Rs 1,832 crore)

  • Margin at 35.3% versus 33.26%. (Estimate: 33.7%)

  • Net profit rose 79.04% to Rs 647.15 crore versus Rs 361.44 crore. (Estimate: Rs 310 crore)

The company saw 35% surge in revenue for the fourth quarter for the year ending March 2025, it was driven due to growth seen in all its segments. Its transmission segment was up 36.4% at Rs 2,246.7 crore, whereas the distribution segment increased by 21.4% at Rs 2,907.17 crore, the trading segment multiplied three times to Rs 378.28 crore.

This strong revenue growth along with a 37% decline in other expenses helped the firm in its results.

Shares of Adani Energy Solutions closed 1.15% lower at Rs 869 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.3% fall in the benchmark Nifty. The stock has fallen 20.14% in the last 12 months and increased 7.79% on a year-to-date basis.

Seven analysts tracking the company, have a 'buy' rating on the stock, according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' price target implies a potential upside of 43.19%.
