YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, widely known as UK07 Rider and also recognised for appearing on Bigg Boss 17, has sparked concerns online after sharing an emotional video claiming he attempted suicide following alleged harassment by his family over his inter-caste marriage.

In the video, which he described as his “last vlog,” Dobhal said he is quitting YouTube and spoke about the turmoil he has faced in recent months. Visibly emotional, he said his life had changed drastically in a short span of time.

“Over the last few months, meri life itni drastically change hui hai ki maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki zindagi aise patak ke chhoregi,” he said, adding he never imagined life would “throw him down and leave him shattered.”

Dobhal accused members of his family — including his parents, his brother Kalam, and a relative named Shreya — of mentally harassing him after he decided to marry outside his caste.

In the nearly two-hour video, Dobhal also reflected on the struggles he faced growing up. He said he was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 14 and later dealt with family pressure regarding his studies. To support himself and pursue his dreams, he started taking tuition classes and said he always prioritised his parents' needs. He also shared that he met his wife, Ritika, on social media after she messaged him as a fan for two to three years before he finally replied.

Speaking about the days leading up to the wedding, Dobhal claimed that his parents refused to attend the ceremony just six days before it took place, forcing him to organise everything on his own.

Mere se haath judwayege, pair padhwaayege. Mere se sorry bulwaya gaya saare relatives ke saamne,” he said, alleging he was forced to fold his hands, touch their feet and apologise publicly.

He further claimed that his parents told him: “Naa hum khush rahenge naa tujhe khush rehne denge (We will neither stay happy ourselves nor allow you to live happily).”

Dobhal also alleged that after the marriage, his family refused to accept the relationship and did not allow Ritika and him to enter their home.

In the video, he said the emotional pressure pushed him to attempt suicide. He also accused his brother, Kalam, of taking control of his assets and pets by threatening to expose him online.

“My death will be the responsibility of mummy, papa, Kalam and Shreya,” Dobhal said in the video. “I have nothing left. I am under a lot of depression.”

Describing his mental state, he added, “I don't understand how to eliminate this feeling. After this video, maybe I will disappear. I just want to sleep. I haven't eaten anything for five days; my mind feels completely exhausted.”

In a written message shared with the video, Dobhal also addressed his wife Ritika, saying others had influenced her. “Ritika, many people influenced you and lied to you… I always loved you and did everything for you,” he wrote, urging her to stand up for him and their child.

Dobhal and Ritika married in May last year and announced in September that they were expecting their first child.
