Ranveer took the stage at the launch event for Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, speaking for the first time about the monumental success of the franchise.
Addressing an enthusiastic audience, he delivered an emotional tribute to fans, saying: "Friends, you have taken Dhurandhar, our film, to a historic milestone, and this is solely because of your love and respect. Today, from our entire team, a very, very, very big thank you to the global cinema-going audience and to all of you."

Talking about the release of the sequel and its celebratory response from the global audience, Ranveer Singh told the crowd, "Day after tomorrow, Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be released, and people are waiting for it eagerly, not just in our country, but across the entire world. Our whole team is so incredibly happy about this."
He also mentioned the humbleness and gratitude felt by the team. "We are so humbled and grateful for the response to the first part of the film. We are so humbled by the kind of excitement and anticipation that we are seeing for the second part. It is unprecedented. We are still processing it. It is such a rush," he added.

The spy thriller has already cemented its name among some record-breakers as the paid preview shows crossed Rs 40.54 crore. As Sacnilk reports, Dhurandhar 2 has now sold 14.81 lakh tickets, breaking Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan's previously held record.
An overwhelming response was estimated from the overseas market as the movie collected Rs 70 crore for its opening weekend. Combining the advance bookings for the 1st day, paid previews, and from the overseas market, including the block seats, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has remarkably crossed Rs 153 crore.
