The stylish world of Berlin is set to return, bringing back high-stakes heists, emotional twists and the unpredictable charm of Andrés de Fonollosa. After a successful first season, the Money Heist spin-off is gearing up for its next chapter—with a darker and more personal story.
Quick Recap of Season 1
Season 1, released in 2023, followed Berlin and his team executing a €44 million jewellery heist in Paris. Their plan involved a fake police operation, secret tunnels, and a carefully timed vault break-in.
Things got messy when Berlin fell for Camille, the wife of a key figure connected to the auction house. His emotions nearly derailed the plan.
Despite police chases, injuries and several close calls, the gang escaped France with most of the loot. However, the story ended on a tense note. Camille discovered the truth and tracked Berlin down later, leaving their relationship and Berlin's fate hanging in uncertainty.
What Is the Story This Time?
After Paris, the action now moves to Seville, Spain. This time, the gang's plan revolves around a clever illusion—pretending to steal the famous painting, Lady with an Ermine.
But the real mission is far more personal. Berlin is being blackmailed by a powerful royal couple—the Duke and Duchess of Málaga. What follows is not just a heist, but a revenge-driven game where Berlin's darker instincts come to the surface. Expect deception, emotional conflict, and a layered plan where nothing is exactly what it seems.

Cast: Returning And New
Pedro Alonso returns as Berlin, leading his trusted crew once again. Familiar faces like Michelle Jenner (Keila), Tristán Ulloa (Damián), Begoña Vargas (Cameron), Julio Peña (Roi), and Joel Sánchez (Bruce) are all back.
The new season also introduces fresh characters. Inma Cuesta joins as Candela, who is expected to bring both romance and complications into Berlin's life. Meanwhile, José Luis García-Pérez and Marta Nieto play the powerful royal couple at the center of the conflict.
What to Expect?
Season 2 promises a deeper look into Berlin's personality—especially his vulnerabilities and his hunger for control. With a revenge plot at its core and new enemies in play, the stakes are clearly higher this time.
If Season 1 was about the thrill of the heist, Season 2 looks set to explore the cost of it.
When and Where to Watch?
Season 2 of Berlin, titled 'Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine', will premiere globally on Netflix on May 15, 2026. Like the first season, all 8 episodes are expected to drop at once, making it perfect for a weekend binge. The release time has not been revealed.
