Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla, released on April 17, 2026, in theatres, has been performing well at the box office. Though the horror-comedy saw a significant dip on its first Monday, it still managed to keep the momentum steady.
Bhooth Bangla - Box Office Collection Day 6
Priyadarshan-directed Bhooth Bangla already crossed Rs 100 crore in worldwide gross collections in just about 4 days of its theatrical release. With day 6 currently going on, it has collected Rs 2.23 crore across 6,642 shows, reports Sacnilk.
With this, the total India net collections now stand at Rs 74.98 crore, while the total domestic gross collections are reported to be Rs 89.25 crore.
After completing its fifth day at the box office, the film had locked in over Rs 118 crore in worldwide gross collections, with the overseas market contributing more than Rs 31 crore.

Occupancy On Day 6
According to Sacnilk, Bhooth Bangla recorded an overall occupancy of 7.77% on Day 6. The morning shows, as expected during weekdays, recorded a low occupancy of 7.77%. However, the afternoon shows saw a slight jump with 13.85%.
It is important to note that the evening and night shows are yet to commence. The upcoming recorded data will change the overall occupancy at the end of day 6.
Occupancy In Major Regions On Day 6
The National Capital Region (NCR) still tops the chart with 1,220 shows. The overall occupancy as of now is reported to be as low as 8.0%, while the afternoon shows recorded 13.0%. Likewise, Mumbai, with 831, also recorded an overall occupancy of 8.0%, with the afternoon data going up to 17.0%.
Other major regions like Chennai, Jaipur, and Bengaluru have contributed to the overall occupancy of day 6.
Overall Performance
The film collected Rs 3.75 crore on day 0, and opened with Rs 12.25 crore on day 1. Though the numbers might seem high, the film was expected to open with significantly higher figures, considering the return of Akshay Kumar in his prime genre.
The opening weekend boosted the overall collection of the film as it locked in Rs 19 crore on Saturday and Rs 23 crore on Sunday. Going under the weekday test, the film collected Rs 6.75 crore on its first Monday.
However, making up for it, Tuesday saw a jump of about 18% as it locked in Rs 8.00 crore.
