The newly formed Bihar government led by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary on Thursday allocated portfolios to ministers, with the CM retaining key departments including Home, General Administration, Cabinet Secretariat, Vigilance, and Civil Aviation, along with departments not allocated to any other minister.

In a significant move, Nishant Kumar — son of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar — has been entrusted with the crucial Health Ministry in his ministerial debut.
