Implementation delays, technical glitches, reluctant states and a failed pilot project - the rollout of the electronic-way bill mechanism under the Goods and Services Tax has been anything but smooth.
But despite these hurdles, e-way bills are now being used both for inter- and intra-state movement of goods.
