While the Arvind Kejriwal led AAP will be contesting in four seats, the Congress is fielding candidates in rest of the three Lok Sabha constituencies, in accordance with the INDIA Bloc alliance seat sharing.

The INDIA Bloc is counting on the sympathy wave following Arvind Kejriwal's arrest in the alleged liquor policy scam case. The AAP leader is was granted bail by the Supreme Court and has been campaigning since. Meanwhile, the BJP is eyeing a hat-trick of victories by replicating its 2014 and 2019 successes in Lok Sabha 2024.

Delhi: The Top Contests

North East Delhi: Sitting BJP MP Manoj Tiwari braces himself to face off against Congress's firebrand candidate Kanhaiya Kumar. Back in 2019, in his debut election as a Communist Party of India candidate, Kanhaiya faced defeat at the hands of BJP's Giriraj Singh in Bihar's Begusarai constituency. Will he turn the tables this time around? That's what makes this an interesting contest.

Chandni Chowk: In a surprising move, BJP has nominated Praveen Khandelwal to contest against Congress's Jai Prakash Agarwal in Chandni Chowk, replacing former Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan.

East Delhi: While in the other contests, East Delhi will see AAP's Kuldeep Kumar and BJP's Harsh Malhotra are pitted against each other.

West Delhi: This constituency will see a contest between AAP's Mahabal Mishra and BJP's Kamaljeet Sehrawat.
