Mahendragiri Varahi has opened its theatrical run with a decent start at the box office. The Telugu film saw audiences turn up for its opening-day shows, setting the tone for its first weekend.
Mahendragiri Varahi Box Office Collection Day 1
On Day 1, Mahendragiri Varahi recorded Rs 55 lakh net in India from 529 shows, with 27% overall occupancy. According to Sacnilk, its India gross collection stood at Rs 65 lakh.
The Telugu 2D version recorded 21.90% overall occupancy on the opening day. Morning shows had 17.25% occupancy, while afternoon shows recorded 21.33%. Evening shows registered 17.83% occupancy, followed by the highest occupancy of 25.08% during night shows.

About Mahendragiri Varahi
Mahendragiri Varahi is a Telugu action-adventure film that combines supernatural and socio-fantasy elements. The story follows Siddharth, an atheist who becomes involved in the investigation of a series of mysterious deaths linked to the goddess Vaaraahi.
Set around the Varahi Ammavaru temple in Mahendragiri, the film explores the mystery surrounding these incidents as Siddharth searches for answers.
Sumanth and Meenakshi Goswami play the lead roles, while Vennela Kishore, Rajeev Kanakala, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Satya Sai Srinivas, Kamal Kamaraju, Vamsi Chaganti and Manju Bhargavi are part of the supporting cast. Sumanth plays a different character in the film, with his role featuring shades of grey.
