The Game Awards 2024: Team Asobi's Astro Bot bagged the prestigious Game of the Year prize at the 11th Game Awards announced in Los Angeles on Thursday. The gamer emerged victorious in three other categories including the Best Game Direction and Best Family Game.

While the wait for Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto (GTA)-6 might be getting longer for the fans, the game made its presence felt at the prestigious awards. The GTA 6 was named the 'Most Anticipated Game' at the The Game Awards 2024.

The first trailer for GTA 6 was released just before Take-Two's earnings call in November 2023, marking the first glimpse of footage fans of the open-world game had seen. According to reports, Rockstar is targeting a Fall 2025 release for the game.

The first teaser trailer of GTA 6 has over 200 million views on YouTube, proving its popularity and anticipation among fans.
