With the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event just around the corner, new leaks have revealed various specs of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. With the launch looming, it is time to immerse yourself in what has been disclosed to date. Here are some of the most intriguing camera-linked features.

Sharper Ultra-Wide Camera

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be shaping the future of macro photography. For the ultra-wide, a new 50-megapixel sensor is expected over the 12-megapixel of the prior model, a quadruple boost in resolution. It adds up to sharper details, especially in the face shots and overall better definition of shots.

AI-Powered Audio Eraser

Just picture shooting a video and being able to cut out all the unnecessary background sounds effortlessly. Samsung could well implement this feature, that has its origins in the Pixel 8 series. Known as “Audio Eraser,” it employs artificial intelligence to edit the audio in the videos. This handy tool is most probably in Samsung’s One UI 7 update, implying that it may be viable on other Galaxy devices as well.

Log Video For Pro Creators

For those who enjoy fine-tuning the contents of the video, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra could record log video. This feature allows the capturing of a wider dynamic level, which can be useful for colour corrections and colour grading. Android users have been using third-party apps so far for this, but it could soon have a built-in solution from Samsung. It is reportedly akin to Apple’s ProRes RAW mode.

Improved Nighttime Videos

Samsung Galaxy S25 is expected to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 3 processor and this might help boost quality in nighttime videos. Look forward to an even more detailed ultra-wide video quality and enhanced low-light capture, giving your night-time escapades more definition and light.

Seamless Lens Switching

Shifting between cameras while recording will be easier than ever. Although the current Samsung Galaxy S24 series supports this to a certain extent, the Galaxy S25 Ultra may be able to do so even better due to the raw power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite’s image processing capabilities while transitioning between the two.

While the leaks have painted quite an impressive picture of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, its actual capabilities will be known only after the launch on Jan. 22, 2025.
