38th National Games: Mascot, Logo Unveiled

Union Minister Raksha Khadse has unveiled the logo and mascot for the 38th National Games, which will be held in Uttarakhand from Jan. 28 to Feb. 25.

The mascot, Mouli, is inspired by the state bird of Uttarakhand, the Monal. The official logo, jersey, torch, anthem, and tagline Sankalp Se Shikhar Tak (From Resolution to Zenith) were also revealed on Sunday.

"These Games symbolise the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and excellence. The vibrant logo and dynamic mascot reflect the rich culture and natural beauty of the state," Khadse, the minister of state for sports and youth affairs, said.

The event in Dehradun was attended by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Indian Olympic Association President PT Usha.

During the occasion, Usha announced that traditional sports, including yoga and mallakhamb, would be added to the National Games.

In her address, Khadse emphasised that incorporating these traditional sports would offer the youth a valuable opportunity to follow their aspirations.
