Ashoka Buildcon Ltd.'s net profit rose nearly sevenfold during the third quarter of financial year 2024-25.
The consolidated bottom line of the construction engineering firm rose to Rs 654.5 crore in the three months ended Dec. 31, 2024, as compared to Rs 96.2 crore in the year-ago period, according to an exchange filing on Monday.
The revenue, however, declined by 10.1% to Rs 2,387.9 crore as compared to 2,657.1 crore in the same quarter of the last fiscal.
The company's earnings before interest taxes, depreciation and amortisation rose by 7% to Rs 638.9 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 597 crore in the year-ago period. The margin expanded to 26.7% from 22.5%.

Shares of Ashoka Buildcon closed 4.68% lower at Rs 237.45 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.76% decline in the benchmark Nifty. It has risen by 48.08% in the last 12 months.
Five out of the ten analysts tracking the company have a 'buy' rating on the stock, four recommend 'hold' and one suggests 'sell', according to Bloomberg data. The average of 12-month analysts' consensus price targets implies a potential upside of 27.3%.
