Four people died after a massive fire broke out near a petrol pump at Ajmer road, in Jaipur, Rajasthan early on Friday morning. A CNG tanker caught fire near the petrol pump after a truck collided with other trucks, PTI reported citing police.
More people are feared dead in the incident. Several people have reportedly sustained severe burn injuries. Victims are being taken to nearby hospitals.
Traffic on the Jaipur–Ajmer highway has been stopped and fire brigades at the spot are trying to extinguish the blaze.
The truck that collided with several other vehicles near the petrol pump was loaded with chemicals, according to preliminary information.
