The upcoming week will continue to see earnings announcements, as companies will share their financial results for the quarter ending March 31, 2025.
Some important companies that will do so include Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Paytm operator One97 Communications Ltd., Dabur India Ltd., Asian Paints Ltd., and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.
It will also see few initial public offerings as only two small, medium enterprise companies will be opening and closing their IPOs this week.

Markets This Week
India's benchmark equity indices ended a holiday-shortened week higher on Friday, swinging to green after a day of decline. The NSE Nifty 50 closed 0.05% higher at 24,346.70, while the BSE Sensex ended 0.32% up at 80,501.99.
The indices have also logged a weekly gain, as the Nifty 50 had closed at 24,039.35 and Sensex settled at 79,212.53 in the week ended on April 25.
On Friday, Reliance Industries Ltd.'s share price closed 1.24% higher at Rs 1,422.40 apiece, while Bajaj Finance Ltd. closed 2.64% up at Rs 8,862.50 per share.
Shares of JSW Steel Ltd. and Bharti Airtel Ltd. dragged on the index. JSW Steel share price slipped 5.50% to Rs 973.20 apiece, while shares of Airtel fell 0.68% to Rs 1,851.90.
Domestic Cues: Q4 Earnings Season Continues
Many Nifty companies are set to release their financial results for the quarter ended March 2025 in the coming week. Notable ones include Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., One97 Communications Ltd., Dabur Ltd., Asian Paints Ltd., and Larsen & Toubro Ltd. among many others.
The coming week will see two small and medium enterprise companies—Manoj Jewellers Ltd. and Srigee DLM Ltd.— kicking off their initial public offerings, with both opening on May 5 and closing on May 7.
The Reserve Bank of India is set to release its report on the status of the country's international currency reserve with respect to US dollars on May 9.
Global Cues
The US and the Eurozone will be announcing their S&P Global Composite Purchasing Managers' Index this week on Monday and Tuesday, respectively. Both the powerhouses will also release their Services PMI announcements for April on the same days. The UK will release its Services PMI data on Tuesday.
The US will release its Institute Of Supply Management non-manufacturing PMI and Prices for April on Monday.
It will also release data for imports, exports and trade balance for the month of March on Tuesday.
The US will release its Fed interest rate decision, FOMC meeting and crude oil inventories data on Wednesday.
Thursday will see the UK release it's interest rate decision for May, along with the US releasing its initial jobless claims data.
On Friday, China will release data on imports, exports and trade balance for April, along with its Consumer Price index and Producer Price Index data.
Corporate Actions
Shares of Oberoi Realty Ltd., Varun Beverages Ltd., Sundram Fasteners Ltd. will turn ex/record-date for the issue of dividends this week.
Bajaj Finance Ltd. will record its shareholders' roster on May 9 for its special dividend of Rs 12 for financial year 2025.
Crisil Ltd.'s interim dividend of Rs 8 will have a record date of May 7 and Bank of Maharashtra (final dividend of Rs 1.5) will record their shareholders on May 9.
