Reliance Industries, Tata Steel, Adani Enterprises in focus today

  1. Reliance Industries is holding its annual general meeting (AGM) today. Chairman Mukesh Ambani will outline the company's strategy on gas pricing and telecom business.
  2. Puravankara Projects has launched a new villa project in Bangaluru. The project is spread across 20 acres and has 209 villas with sizes between 3,009 sq. ft. and 4,723 sq. ft.
  3. Cipla said it has acquired 60 per cent stake in a Sri Lankan company for $14 million to market its product in the country.
  4. SpiceJet has extended its Rs 1,999 monsoon offer pan-India. Booking under the extended offer is to be made between June 17-19.
  5. CESC: The stock has gone ex-dividend today. The company had announced final dividend of Rs8 (80%) for the financial year FY14.
  6. Gati plans to sell a minority stake to fund its expansion. It is in talks to sell its cold-chain unit.
  7. Adani Enterprises has initiated talks to raise $2.5 billion through qualified institutional placement (QIP) or bond issue.
  8. TVS Motor: Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofAML) has upgradeed the stock to buy from underperform with a target price of Rs 200. The brokerage expects its earnings per share to grow 30-55 per cent over next 2 years. TVS Motor's robust pipeline of new products is to drive growth, it added.
  9. Voltas: BofAML has upgraded the stock to buy with a target price of Rs 282. The brokerage says branded AC unit is turning profitable for the company and MEP (Mechanical Electrical and Public health) turnaround to boost margin of the company.
  10. Tata Steel: Deutsche bank has maintained a buy on the stock with a target price of Rs 600. The brokerage says iron ore prices have fallen to 20-month low and low iron prices should lead to higher profitability for the company.
