Infosys president and board member B.G. Srinivas, who resigned on Wednesday, will be joining Hong Kong-based information and communications technology PCCW as its group managing director with effect from July 14, 2014.
This was disclosed by the Kong Kong-based company on its website.
Mr Srinivas, who joined the company in 1999, will remain in his role at the Bangalore-based company until June 10. He was seen a contender for Infosys CEO after SD Shibulal's tenure ends next year.

Mr Srinivas, who joined Infosys in 1999, is the 10th top-level executive to quit since its co-founder Narayana Murthy returned to its helm in June last year.
Prior to Infosys, Mr Srinivas held several leadership roles at ABB, the Swiss multinational group.
