State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is offering unlimited calls and 1 GB or gigabytes of data in its prepaid recharge plan priced at Rs 118. This is the latest offer from the state-run telecom company. The offer comes after Mukesh Ambani's telecom company Reliance Jio extended the Jio Prime membership for another year at 'no additional fee' for existing customers. The telecom sector has been reeling under the special offers rolled out by Jio every now and then. Incumbent operators like BSNL, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea cellular are doing all that it takes to retain the old customers and woo new subscribers.
