ACC Ltd. announced the appointment of Vinod Bahtey as chief executive officer, additional director and wholetime director, according to an exchange filing on NSE.
Bahtey will be taking over the positions from Ajay Kapur, who will no longer occupy them from March 31, 2025.
He will assume the role effective from April 1 and will serve in the position for three years, according to the filing.
Rakesh Tiwary will be occupying Bahtey's former designation as chief financial officer on the same day.
Ajay Kapur will be reappointed and redesignated as managing director of Ambuja Cements Ltd., according to the exchange filing.
Bhavik Parikh was additionally appointed as company secretary and compliance officer by the cement company.
Madhavi Isanaka, the chief digital officer, will be designated as a senior management personnel of ACC effective from April 1, replacing Hemal Shah, who will no longer be a part of the SMP with effect from the close of business hours on March 31.
Vaibhav Dixit, head of manufacturing, will also be joining the SMP effective from April 1, 2025, taking the place of Sukuru Ramarao, who will similarly cease to be SMP with effect from the close of business hours on March 31, 2025.
Bahtey was also appointed as the CEO, whole-time director and additional director of Ambuja Cements Ltd., another Adani-owned cement firm, for the term of three years effective from April 1.
Tiwary was also similarly appointed CFO of the company and will occupy the position for a period of two years.
The company appointed Praveen Garg as an additional director on the board for a period of three years effective from April 1.
Ambuja Cements also announced several changes to its SMP, effective April 1st. Madhavi Isanaka will join as an SMP, replacing Hemal Shah, who will leave the position on March 31st. Similarly, Vaibhav Dixit will step into an SMP role, succeeding Sukuru Ramarao, who will also leave on March 31st. Additionally, Ashwin Raikundaliya, the chief sustainability officer, will cease to be an SMP on the same date.
