Passengers travelling to or from Dubai have been advised to review their travel plans after airlines issued advisories warning that unfavourable weather conditions could disrupt flight operations.
The advisory comes amid reports of fog and mist affecting several parts of the United Arab Emirates, particularly during early morning hours.
Quoting National Centre of Meteorology, a Curly Tales report mentioned that fog and mist are expected to affect parts of the UAE until Thursday.
Dubai is one of the busiest aviation hubs in the world.

According to the report, officials from the National Centre of Meteorology informed that foggy and misty conditions over the past few days have led to longer waiting times for aircraft to land, while departures have also been affected as flights queue up on runways. In response to the situation, airlines have issued advisory.
In an official post on X, IndiGo wrote, “Travel Advisory. Due to adverse weather conditions in #Dubai, flight operations may be impacted. We understand that extended wait times, both on the ground and onboard, may cause inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your patience. The airline further assured passengers that its ground staff and cabin crew are actively working to manage the disruption. IndiGo said its teams are focused on controlling queues, providing timely updates, and assisting passengers in order to minimise discomfort during delays.

Similarly, SpiceJet also issued a weather-related advisory. In its official communication, SpiceJet stated, “#WeatherUpdate: Due to bad weather in Dubai (DXB), all departures/arrivals and their consequential flights may be affected. Passengers are requested to keep a check on their flight status via spicejet.com/#status.”

Meanwhile, according to Khaleej Times, several Emirates flights operating at Dubai International Airport were delayed on Tuesday morning due to dense fog conditions that reduced visibility during landing and take-off operations. Thick fog was reported across several parts of the UAE early on Tuesday, affecting both air and road traffic.
According to The National, commuters across the UAE faced severe driving conditions on Tuesday morning after the National Centre of Meteorology issued a weather warning. The report stated that heavy fog significantly reduced visibility on key commuter roads in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
