Oppo might soon launch its flagship Find X9 Ultra in India, which would mark the first time an Ultra variant from a flagship series becomes available outside of China. The smartphone has recently appeared on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, indicating that it is likely to reach Indian users in the coming future. This development comes shortly after the company teased the advanced camera system of the Find X9 Ultra, which includes Hasselblad tuning and a built-in teleconverter.
Oppo Find X9 Ultra Listed On BIS Portal
A new Oppo device with model number CPH2841 was listed on the BIS portal, as reported by Xpertpick. The listing, dated March 27, shows that the phone received regulatory approval on that day, suggesting a launch in India could happen within the coming weeks or months.
The BIS certification comes on the heels of Oppo's promotions of the Find X9 Ultra for global markets. Headlining the teasers is the Find X9 Ultra's Hasselblad-tuned camera set, which features a built-in teleconverter and a 50MP telephoto lens capable of up to 10x optical zoom, as confirmed by Oppo. The device may include a 200MP main sensor, alongside a 50MP ultrawide and 50MP selfie shooter.
Oppo has also confirmed that the Find X9 Ultra will come with a battery larger than 7,000mAh. The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
On the display side, the Find X9 Ultra is rumoured to get a 6.82-inch LTPO Amoled panel supporting up to a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits.
