The OnePlus 15T is scheduled to release in China during the fourth week of March. In the run-up to its debut, OnePlus has been gradually revealing details about the device. Some of its main specifications, variants, and colour options have already been teased, and the phone was recently listed on the brand's online store in China. The company has now revealed details of the processor that will power the OnePlus 15T and the Wi-Fi chip that will be housed inside it.
OnePlus 15T Launch Date, RAM, Storage, Colours
The OnePlus 15T will be unveiled in China on March 24 at 7 p.m. local time (4:30 p.m. in India). Pre-orders are already open through the Oppo China online store. It will be available in several configurations (RAM/storage): 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB. Colour variants include Relaxing Matcha, Pure Cocoa, and Healing White Chocolate (translated from Chinese).
OnePlus 15T Processor, Performance, Wi-Fi Chip, Battery, Charging
The OnePlus 15T is confirmed to come powered by the top-notch Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which OnePlus refers to as the “OnePlus E-Sports Triple-Core” setup (translated from Chinese). The handset reportedly achieved over 4,450,000 points on a benchmarking platform.
In a recent Weibo post, the brand also revealed that the OnePlus 15T will feature the G2 Wi-Fi chip, identical to the one in the OnePlus 15. The device will further include the next-generation “Wind Chaser Gaming” kernel (translated from Chinese), which is designed to improve gaming performance and enable up to 165fps gaming at 1.5K resolution. The OnePlus 15T also incorporates the “Lingxi” touch response chip for enhanced touch accuracy during gameplay.
Another detail that has been confirmed about the OnePlus 15T is its battery capacity — 7,500mAh — which OnePlus claims delivers around 22.8 hours of online video playback, 10.3 hours gaming, or 13 hours of navigation on a full charge. Charging support includes 100W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging, and bypass charging.
