B. Sai Sudharsan's knock of 87 in 46 deliveries helped Gujarat Titans beat Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets in match 37 of 2026 Indian Premier League at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on Sunday.
The GT opener's knock helped the team reach the target of 159 in 16.4 overs.
Earlier, CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad played a slow knock of 74 not out in 60 balls and remained not out and guided the five-time champions to a score of 158/7 in 20 overs. Gaikwad was supported by Jamie Overton who played a little cameo of six-ball 18 as CSK went past the 150-run mark.
The victory has helped Shubman Gill-led side jump to fifth place on the IPL points table after 5 wins and 3 losses from 8 games. Meanwhile CSK remain in the bottom half of the tally at sixth spot managing just 3 wins from 8 games while suffering 5 defeats.
