NMDC Ltd.'s net profit rose in the third quarter of financial year 2024-2025, as per the consolidated results declared by the public sector company on Thursday.
The iron ore exploration and production firm's bottom line surged by 26.8% to Rs 1,882 crore in the December 2024 quarter, compared to Rs 1,484 reported in the year-ago period.

Revenue up 21.4% at Rs 6,567.8 crore versus Rs 5,409.9 crore.
Ebitda up 18.17% at Rs 2,372 crore versus Rs 2,007.2 crore.
Margin at 36.11% versus 37.1%.
Net profit up 26.7% at Rs 1,882 crore versus Rs 1,484 crore.
Segment Wise Revenue
Iron ore segment revenue grew 20% year-on-year to Rs 6,434.2 crore.
Pellet and other mineral segment revenue doubled to Rs 169.13 crore.
Shares of NMDC were trading 0.64% higher at Rs 65.58 apiece on the BSE at 1:35 p.m., compared to a 0.42% decline in the benchmark Sensex.
