24K gold stood at Rs 1,62,810 per 10gm, while 22K gold was at Rs 1,49,243 per 10gm during the early hours of Monday. Over a week, the price of 24 K gold surged more than 4%, while during the past year it jumped close to 62%.
Chennai reported the highest gold and silver prices today, while Delhi reported the lowest amongst the top cities across India.
