Adani Green Energy Increases Capacity To 11.60 GW After Commissioning New Projects In Gujarat

Adani Green Energy Ltd.'s two arms commissioned renewable energy projects in Khavda Gujarat. After the commissioning, Adani Green Energy's total operational renewable generation capacity has increased to 11,608.9 megawatt, the company said in an exchange filing.

Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Ltd. commissions 62.4 megawatt wind power component of its wind-solar hybrid project at Khavda, Gujarat, the company said in the exchange filing.

Adani Green Energy Twenty Four A Ltd, another step-down subsidiary has commissioned a 112.5 megawatt solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat. The plant started operation on Dec 28. It will start generating power from Sunday.

On Saturday, Adani Green Energy incorporated a new subsidiaries to expand renewable power generation capacity. Adani Green Energy Sixty Eight Ltd. or AGE68L was incorporated with the objective of generating, developing, and distributing power using renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and other green energy alternatives.

The new entity is in early stages of development and yet to start its business operation.
