Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri's O'Romeo has registered a steady upward trend at the domestic box office, crossing the Rs 30-crore milestone within its first three days in theatres. The Vishal Bhardwaj directorial collected an estimated Rs 9 crore on Sunday, taking its total India nett to Rs 30.15 crore, as per early estimates reported by trade portal Sacnilk.

The film's performance over the Valentine's Day weekend showed clear growth after its opening day, with audience footfall improving across shows. On Sunday, O'Romeo recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 18.96 percent. The day began on a relatively slow note with morning shows at 8.76 percent, but saw a sharp jump in the afternoon to 25 percent. Evening shows remained strong at 23.42 percent before night screenings closed at 18.66 percent, indicating sustained interest through the latter half of the day.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh had earlier pointed to the film's significant Saturday surge, noting that the collections grew by over 60 percent, aided by the Valentine's Day factor. Calling the upward movement an encouraging sign, he also cautioned that the India vs Pakistan cricket match on Sunday evening could impact theatrical footfall. He added that given the film's scale and reported budget, consistent weekday numbers from Monday to Thursday would be essential for it to remain firmly in the race.

Released on February 13, O'Romeo blends a stylised love story with a crime backdrop and is adapted from Hussain Zaidi's Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Shahid Kapoor plays Ustara, while Triptii Dimri stars as Afsha Qureshi. The film also features Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal and Hussain Dalal in key roles.
