The makers of superstar Allu Arjun's and Atlee's ambitious project, tentatively titled AA22xA6, have finally dropped a major update — a striking first poster reveal that has instantly grabbed attention across social media.
Unveiled at 11 AM on April 7 by Sun Pictures, the poster sets the tone for what looks like a dark, intense, and possibly genre-bending cinematic experience. Interestingly, instead of revealing Allu Arjun's look, the team chose a completely unexpected visual to spark intrigue.
The newly released poster features a chilling image—a beast-like hand with long, razor-sharp claws, covered in thick hair, emerging against a gloomy backdrop. The setting includes a stormy sky, heavy clouds, and shadowy structures resembling forts or ancient constructions, giving it a haunting, almost otherworldly feel.
There are no faces, no direct hints about the characters—just a raw, mysterious visual. This unusual approach has worked in the film's favour, as fans have flooded social media with theories. Many believe the imagery points towards a story set in a parallel universe, possibly blending sci-fi with supernatural or fantasy elements.
The poster reveal comes just a day before Allu Arjun's birthday, clearly part of a larger promotional strategy. The makers had earlier teased the update with a simple yet effective post—“Tomorrow, 11am ???????? #AA22xA6”—which built anticipation without giving anything away.

With this intense first look now out, expectations have shot up significantly. Allu Arjun took to X to announce that the AA22xA6 title poster will be unveiled on April 8 at 11 AM, making the birthday celebrations even bigger for fans.
Directed by Atlee, AA22xA6 is being mounted as a high-budget sci-fi action entertainer with heavy reliance on VFX. At the centre of the film is Allu Arjun, who is reportedly playing a quadruple role—spanning multiple generations, including a grandfather, a father, and two sons.
The film also features a strong ensemble cast led by Deepika Padukone, alongside Rashmika Mandanna (reportedly in a negative role), Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, Kajol, and Ramya Krishnan. Supporting roles are expected to be played by Yogi Babu and Jim Sarbh.
Backed by Kalanithi Maran, the film is shaping up to be one of the biggest projects in Indian cinema, with a likely release window in 2027.
