At least 12 persons were injured on Sunday when a double-decker bus overturned on the Yamuna Expressway, police said.
The incident occurred near milestone 76 on the Noida-Agra stretch of the expressway under the Naujheel police station area.
The bus, bearing registration number BR02PC2291, was travelling from Noida to Darbhanga with 72 passengers on board, police said.
Police and local authorities rushed to the spot and rescued the trapped passengers by breaking the bus windows, officials said.

"There were no fatalities in the accident. All the injured passengers have been admitted to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Naujheel," a police release said.
Further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway, officials added.
