Keoti Election Result 2025: BJP's Murari Mohan Jha Wins By Margin Of Over 7,000 Votes

Murari Mohan Jha of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wont the Keoti seat by 89,123 votes, while Faraz Fatmi from the Rashtriya Janata Dal was narrowly trailing by 81,818 votes.

Murari Mohan Jha of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is currently leading with 56,862 votes, while Faraz Fatmi from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is close behind with 52,819 votes, making this a neck-and-neck contest. Mohammad Anisur Rahman of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) trails in third place with 5,148 votes

Vote counting is underway in Bihar’s Keoti constituency, with early trends indicating BJP’s Murari Mohan Jha is in the lead.

In the 2020 Assembly elections, BJP’s Murari Mohan Jha won the Keoti seat with 56.4% of the votes, defeating RJD leader Abdul Bari Siddiqui by a margin of 76,372 votes.

The counting of votes for Keoti will commence at 8 am. The Election Commission of India will tally the votes cast in the Bihar Assembly election 2025 today. The polls were held in two phases, Nov. 6 and 11, and recorded a turnout of 67.13%, the highest ever since 1951.
