Regular commuters, particularly those who depend on route maps, station announcements and digital navigation tools, may need some time to familiarise themselves with the revised station names.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is expected to roll out updated signage, maps and onboard announcements. Passengers are advised to refer to revised route charts and official updates before travelling over the next few days.

Officials said the decision goes beyond a routine administrative exercise, describing it as a symbolic step intended to reinforce the connection between public infrastructure and local communities.
