Delhi Election Results 2025: Full List Of Winning Candidates From BJP And AAP

The counting of votes of the Delhi assembly election 2025 concluded Saturday evening. The Bharatiya Janata Party has ended the Aam Aadmi Party's 10-year rule in the national capital and its own 27-year drought from power.

As per final tally at 8:30 p.m. on the Election Commission website, the BJP has won 48 seats. The AAP is victorious in 22 constituencies. The Congress has drawn a blank.

In terms of vote share, the BJP and AAP are close. The saffron party has garnered 45.7% of the popular vote, while the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP has secured 43.6%. The Congress has managed to get just over 6% of the vote.

In the 2020 assembly election, AAP won 62 of the 70 seats while the BJP won just eight.

The election for 70-member Delhi election was held on Feb. 5, Wednesday. Nearly 700 candidates are in the fray while the primary contending parties are the BJP, AAP and Congress.

The Arvind Kejriwal-led party has been in power since 2015 with a thumping majority. The BJP last held the government in the national capital between 1993-1998. The Congress was wiped out a decade ago after a 15-year reign under former CM Sheila Dixit.
