The Central Board of Secondary Education is likely to announce the Class 12 board exam results for 2026 soon. DigiLocker has announced on its official social media that CBSE Class 12 results are “Coming Soon”.
More than 18 lakh students are expecting their results. While CBSE has yet to specify an official result date, news reports indicate that the outcomes might come by the second or third week of May. Students are advised to regularly check official sites such as cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and DigiLocker for the latest information.

- Step 1: Visit results.digilocker.gov.in
- Step 2: Log in with your mobile number or your Aadhaar-associated account
- Step 3: Look for the CBSE Class 12 results for the year 2026
- Step 4: Input your CBSE 12th roll number
- Step 5: Your digital CBSE 12th mark sheet will be ready for you to view.

How to create a DigiLocker account?
- Step 1: To open a DigiLocker account:
- Step 2: Go to the DigiLocker website or app.
- Step 3: Hit "Sign Up".
- Step 4: Provide your mobile number and confirm it with an OTP.
- Step 5: Create a username and password.
- Step 6: If necessary, link your Aadhaar number.
- Step 7: Once registered, navigate to the Education section to download your documents.
In recent years, the board has typically adhered to a mid-May announcement schedule. The CBSE Class 12 results for 2025 were announced on May 13, 2025, and in a similar manner, results for 2024 were declared on May 13. In 2023, the results were announced on May 12. The 2022 session saw a delayed schedule due to the pandemic, causing the results to be declared in July.

Last year's pass percentage for Class 12 stood at 88.39 per cent. Simultaneously, the CBSE Class 10 results for 2026 were released on April 15, 2026. This year, a total of 2,471,777 candidates took part in the Class 10 examinations, with 2,316,008 students achieving success.
