Access to the examination hall will be restricted prior to the commencement of the exam. No late admissions will be permitted under any circumstances.

Prohibited items and exam day instructions

The council has banned electronic gadgets and unauthorized items from the examination hall. Prohibited items include mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, bags, textbooks, notes, and loose papers. Nevertheless, candidates may bring empty sheets of paper, as long as they are free of any written annotations or comments.

According to the AIBE XXI regulations, candidates must exclusively use blue or black ballpoint pens to fill in their responses on the OMR sheet. The use of pencils is strictly prohibited and could lead to disqualification. Moreover, candidates are advised to meticulously complete crucial details such as roll number and question paper booklet code on the OMR sheet to prevent mistakes.

Accommodation for differently abled candidates

The regulations further incorporate specific accommodations for candidates with disabilities. Individuals with a disability level exceeding 40 percent will receive an extra 20 minutes for each hour of exam duration. Candidates who cannot write due to disabilities may utilise the help of a scribe, provided they submit the required medical documentation and supporting materials. The BCI has emphasised that it will not provide scribes for Persons with Disabilities (PwD); applicants must organise their own scribe.
