Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan's horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla continues its impressive theatrical journey as it nears the end of its third week. On Day 20, the film's collections slowed down, following the typical weekday trend.
As per Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 0.46 crore across 2,278 shows so far. With the day currently going on, the total India gross collections are valued at Rs 174.43 crore, and the total India net collections are Rs 146.96 crore.
By the end of Day 19, the film crossed the Rs 230 crore mark globally. With significant contributions of Rs 57.15 crore from the overseas market, the total worldwide gross now stands at Rs 231.03 crore.

Occupancy - Day 20
The film has recorded low overall occupancy on Wednesday so far. Morning shows registered an occupancy of just 4.62%. However, data for the afternoon, evening, and night shows is yet to be updated, which is expected to further raise the occupancy later in the day.
Region-Wise Breakdown
On its 20th day, Bhooth Bangla is running on a decent number of screens. The National Capital Region (NCR) leads with 298 shows, but at 6% occupancy, followed by Mumbai with 130 shows (6%). Pune recorded the highest occupancy at 8% across 39 shows, while most other major cities like Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Bengaluru are witnessing lower morning footfalls.
Box Office Journey So Far
On April 16, the film collected Rs 3.75 crore on Day 0 (paid previews). The opening day saw a solid Rs 12.25 crore. It also had a strong opening weekend, collecting Rs 19 crore on Saturday and Rs 23 crore on Sunday. However, the film earned just Rs 6.75 crore on its first Monday, following the typical weekday slowdown. The film surpassed the Rs 200 crore mark globally within four days of its release.
With slow and steady collections through the first week, Week 1 wrapped up with an impressive amount of Rs 84.40 crore.
The second weekend boosted its collections on the weekend with Rs 10.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 12.50 crore on Sunday. However, the usual weekday trend continued, and the film closed its second week with Rs 43.75 crore.
The third weekend fell to single-digit figures as Saturday brought in Rs 4.35 crore while Sunday surged to Rs 5.50 crore. Moreover, the number of screens also decreased by about 40% in the third week, marking the shift of audiences' interest towards newer releases.
