(Bloomberg) -- The Paris hospital authority, AP-HP, was the target of a cyber-attack on March 22, according to France’s cybersecurity agency.

The attack sought to disable hospital service in the French capital by overwhelming its computers, the ANSSI said. The AP-HP successfully handled the attack, it added.

There hasn’t been any other significant cyber-attacks related to Covid-19 crisis, a spokeswoman at the ANSSI said.

The U.S. Health and Human Services Department recently suffered a cyber-attack on its computer system, part of an incident believed to be aimed at undermining the response to the coronavirus pandemic.

In addition, Australia’s main internet site that provides online access to government services was hit by a cyber-attack on Monday amid unprecedented demand from newly laid-off workers, according to the government.
