Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, along with several other Union ministers and state leaders lauded the Indian Army's 'Operation Sindoor' launched against the terrorist bases in Pakistan in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The precision strikes were confirmed by the communication wing of the Indian armed forces, which said, "Justice is Served. Jai Hind!" in a post on social media platform X.
"Bharat Mata Ki Jai (Victory to mother India)," Rajnath Singh tweeted shortly thereafter.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also posted "Jai Hind. Jai Hind Ki Sena" on his official X handle.
Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju also took to social media to laud the Indian forces for their precision strikes across the border.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu also posted "Jai Hind", as he marked his appreciation towards the armed forces for the action carried out against the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan.
Several leaders from the Opposition ranks also expressed gratitude towards the Indian Army for targeting the terrorist bases across the border.
"Jai Hind. Jai Hind Ki Sena," tweeted Rashtriya Janata Dal founder and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Donald Trump Reacts
Among world leaders, US President Donald Trump was among the first to react to India's military action. "We just heard about it as we were walking through the doors of the Oval... They've been fighting for a long time... I just hope it ends very quickly," he said in a media briefing.
From the India Inc, business magnate Anand Mahindra was among the first voices to mark their support for the Indian forces. "Our prayers are with our forces… One nation…Together we Stand (sic)," he tweeted.
