Shares of most Adani Group companies closed higher on Friday.
Adani Power Ltd. led the gains with over 2% rise, while shares of Adani Enterprises Ltd., Adani Transmission Ltd. and Ambuja Cements Ltd. closed more than 1% higher each.
The gains came after Adani Enterprises Ltd.'s subsidiary, Adani New Industries Ltd., raised $394 million, or Rs 3,231 crore, from Barclays PLC and Deutsche Bank AG for a trade finance facility. This is to secure working capital for its integrated solar module manufacturing facility.
The group's market cap rose Rs 5,919 crore to Rs 10.59 lakh crore on Friday. Shares of NDTV Ltd. and Adani Green Energy Ltd., however, declined.
The group stocks also rose through the week, adding a total wealth of Rs 51,848.5 crore
