Shares of Bondada Engineering Ltd. were locked in an upper circuit of 5% and also hit an all-time high on Thursday after being awarded an order of Rs 939 crore by NLC India Ltd.
The contract is for balance-of-system work for setting up a 600-megawatt grid-connected solar power project. The time period for execution is 15 months from the date of issuance of the letter of award, according to an exchange filing.
The stock rose as much as 5% during the day to Rs 2,320.80 apiece on the BSE. It was still locked in an upper circuit, compared to a 0.29% advance in the benchmark Sensex as of 12:13 p.m.
The scrip fell 484.22% so far this year. The total traded volume so far today stood at 0.2 times its 30-day average. The relative strength index was at 79%.
