SpiceJet Diwali Flash Sale: Base Fares Start at Rs 499

This is SpiceJet's second Diwali offering this year.

SpiceJet has now come up with yet another Diwali offer, this time a two-day flash sale that will be open till midnight, November 10.

"SpiceJet customers can avail the special one way base fares starting at as low as Rs. 499 (excluding statutory taxes and fees)," the airline said on Monday.

The two-day sale SpiceJet Diwali sale will be open till midnight, November 10, 2015, and is valid for travel on November 11 and November 12, 2015.

The lowest one way base fare of Rs. 499 is available on routes such as Amritsar-Srinagar, Kolkata-Agartala, Chennai-Madurai, and Mumbai-Ahmedabad, SpiceJet said.

The offer is valid on select direct flights within SpiceJet's domestic network, the airline said.

Base fares don't include statutory taxes and fees.

Just two weeks back, SpiceJet had another Diwali sale on, offerings tickets for a base fare of 749.

Diwali, one of India's biggest festivals is on November 11 this year.

SpiceJet has been one of the most aggressive players in offering promotional schemes to lure flyers.

Airlines in a bid to garner market share in a highly competitive environment have been coming with offers and discounts almost every week. This in turn has ensured a spurt in passenger air traffic.

Passengers carried by domestic airlines during the nine months of this year, from January to September, rose 20 per cent to 590 lakh.
