US President Donald Trump delivered a national address on Thursday to provide an update on the ongoing war with Iran, as the conflict enters its second month. He said Iran's navy is gone, its air force is in ruins, most of its leaders are dead, and its ability to launch missiles has been curtailed. He offered to sell American oil to countries unable to get supplies from the Strait of Hormuz and put the onus of securing the narrow waterway on them.
