Sitaare Zameen Par Box Office Collection: Aamir Khan's Film Earns Nearly Rs 60 Crore In Three Days

Actor Aamir Khan's latest movie, Sitaare Zameen Par, witnessed a strong response at the domestic box office in its first weekend with a collection of nearly Rs 60 crore.

Directed by RS Prasanna, the film earned an estimated Rs 10.7 crore on Friday, Rs 20.2 crore on Saturday and Rs 28 crore on Sunday, the data from industry tracker Sacnilk showed on Monday. In the first three days of release, the movie has collected Rs 58.90 crore net in India.

Released on June 20, the story of Sitaare Zameen Par follows a basketball coach sentenced to community service, where he trains neurodivergent adults after an incident of driving under the influence. The Hindi-language comedy drama is a sequel to Aamir Khan's 2007 directorial debut, Taare Zameen Par.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh praised the movie on Monday in a post on social media platform X.

"SitaareZameenPar hits it out of the park in its opening weekend, with business multiplying hour by hour, day by day – delivering outstanding numbers across its first three days, he wrote.
