Vivo has officially launched the Vivo T5 Pro 5G smartphone in India, boasting a mammoth 9,020mAh battery (the largest by Vivo) in a relatively slim form. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G features a vibrant Amoled display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and boasts robust IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The smartphone will be available in India via Vivo's website and Flipkart, with sales starting on April 21.

One of the key attractions of the Vivo T5 Pro 5G is its massive 9,020mAh battery, claimed as the largest ever offered by Vivo. Vivo has highlighted impressive usage times: up to 37 hours of video playback, 90 hours of music playback, over 12 hours of gaming, 13+ hours of live streaming, and 12+ hours of video recording. It supports 90W fast wired charging, which Vivo claims can recharge the battery from 1% to 50% in 37 minutes. Bypass charging and reverse wired charging are available as well.
The T5 Pro 5G comes equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, which Vivo claims can deliver an AnTuTu score of around 1.2 million and smooth gaming, achieving 90fps in titles like BGMI and Call of Duty Mobile and up to 120fps in games such as Mobile Legends and Honor of Kings. Keeping the device cool during heavy usage is a big 7,000 mm square vapour chamber.
The smartphone runs OriginOS and features Origin Island along with AI tools like AI Transcript Assist, AI Creation, and Google Gemini integration.

It reaches a peak brightness of 5,000 nits and holds certifications for low blue light emission and flicker-free operation from SGS. The phone also supports water touch technology, carries military-grade durability certification, and is rated IP68 and IP69 for protection against dust and water.
On the optics front, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G comes with a dual rear camera array consisting of a 50MP primary Sony sensor paired with a 2MP bokeh lens. Up front, it has a 32MP selfie camera. Both the rear and front cameras are capable of recording video in 4K resolution.
