Samsung is expected to send out invites for its first Galaxy Unpacked of 2026 any day now. The event, likely on Feb. 25, will see the Korean tech major pulling back the curtain from three devices: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. As always, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will take centre stage as the flagship model, with roughly three-quarters of initial production — about 3.6 million units — reportedly allocated to it.

Performance-wise, Geekbench listings for both Korean and global variants confirm the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset powering the S26 Ultra worldwide. Early scores show 3,601 in single-core and 10,686 in multi-core tests, with potential for higher results in final clocked units.

Minimum RAM is listed at 12GB, with possible storage options including 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB configurations.
Battery And Charging
Battery capacity in the S26 Ultra is expected to remain at 5,000mAh, but wired charging could rise to 60W (up from 45W on the predecessor) based on a Chinese 3C certification. Qi2 wireless charging is likely, though tipsters indicate no built-in magnets for MagSafe-style compatibility, meaning users may need third-party magnetic cases.
Design
Design leaks show a shift towards softer, rounded edges, moving further from the sharp, boxy Note-style look. The rear features a pill-shaped camera module housing most sensors, with one lens positioned separately. The front has a flat display with slimmer bezels and a centred hole-punch selfie camera.
