The unveiling of Samsung Galaxy S26 series is less than 48 hours away, and as expected, details continue to pour in about the upcoming devices. Just ahead of the launch, the EU Energy Labels for the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra have reportedly surfaced, confirming their battery capacities. This follows leaks of alleged promotional materials of the Galaxy S26 lineup, which previously hinted at the battery capacities as well.

As widely rumoured, only the vanilla Galaxy S26 is receiving a battery upgrade compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S25. It reportedly features a rated capacity of 4,175mAh, advertised as 4,300mAh typical. The Galaxy S26 Plus comes with a 4,755mAh rated battery, marketed as 4,900mAh, while the Galaxy S26 Ultra has a 4,855mAh rated battery, advertised as 5,000mAh.

All three models are designed to retain at least 80% of their original capacity after 1,200 full charge cycles. They also carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, along with an A rating for drop protection and a C rating for repairability.

These figures align with recently leaked marketing materials suggesting the Galaxy S26 Ultra keeps the same 5,000mAh battery as the S25 Ultra, with no changes to battery life or charging performance — such as up to 31 hours of video playback on a single charge and 75% capacity reached in 30 minutes via wired charging.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S26 series at its Galaxy Unpacked event on Feb. 25 from San Francisco, California. New Galaxy Buds models may also be announced during the presentation. The event will air live at 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. GMT, 7 p.m. CET, and 11:30 p.m. IST on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung's YouTube channel.
