Google is going to unveil the Pixel 10a today, February 18. The tech giant will reportedly use an older generation Tensor chip for the first time in its new smartphone lineup.
The Pixel 10a is set to come preloaded with Android 16 and is expected to support the Android 17 beta, with Google promising up to seven years of operating system and security updates. The device succeeds last year's Pixel 9a and is expected to bring incremental upgrades.

The device is expected to use Bluetooth 6 and support 45W wired charging, up from 23W on the Pixel 9a.
Under the hood, the Pixel 10a is likely powered by the Tensor G4 processor, paired with 8GB of RAM.
Storage options may include 128GB and 256GB variants. The device will reportedly retain a 5,100 mAh battery and include an under-display fingerprint sensor for security.
Camera hardware is expected to be similar to the Pixel 9a, with a 48MP main rear sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 13MP front camera. The Pixel 10a should ship with Android 16 and support the Android 17 beta, with Google promising seven years of OS and security updates.
Google Pixel 10a: Price
Reports indicate the Pixel 10a is expected to be available at a starting price of around €499 (approximately Rs 52,800) for the 128GB model and €599 (around Rs 64,300) for the 256GB variant in Europe.
In India, the price is expected to stay below Rs 50,000. The smartphone will be available on Flipkart, the Google Store and other leading retail stores. Pre-orders are likely to begin on February 18, following the launch.

The Pixel 10a's design closely resembles its predecessor but is slightly adjusted in size, measuring 153.9 x 73 x 9 mm and weighing 183 g. It carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
Expected colour options include Obsidian, Fog, Lavender and Berry.
